Data Policy
New European legislation from the end of May 2018 is designed to give everyone more understanding and control of their personal data.
Here is an explanation of how we at IGFR – INTERNATIONAL GOLFING FELLOWSHIP OF ROTARIANS collect data and manage it as part of the business: what we keep, what we share and what we don’t.
In brief, as part of our business we collect customer data through an email newsletter sign-up
An individual account is set up in your name, which you can access any time through the login button on any screen:
There you can see your details and manage your account.
We retain your name and contact details on file so we can send you Newsletters and any letters.
We keep a record of payment for ten years as is required under tax law, but we do not keep or store your credit or debit card details. Any payment is managed by PayPal: we do not collect or store any payment card details. For tax purposes we retain details that the payment was made for seven years – members who pay via this way are re-directed to these external sites.
We do not and never have sold, traded or given away customer details to third parties, and we never will.
